Features

What is included in this edition?

Field Constraints

Validate your SharePoint forms & ensure the user's input makes sense!

The Field Constraints allows SharePoint customers to easily configure field validation rules to enforce input patterns according to your required form logic: email, field length, ID, value ranges and any other custom pattern using regular expressions! Enhance your SharePoint Online list forms with robust field validations!

You can quickly configure dynamic validation rules using a simple and intuitive settings page. No complex formulas!

How does field restrain help you?

There are column types that SharePoint does not validate. These include Lookup and Person column types.

With the Field Constraints feature, you can validate any field type.

You can compare your field value to fixed values/ranges or values of other fields in your form.

For example: in the following screenshot, we’ve configured a validation rule that checks that a task is not assigned to the current user (using the [Me] token).

Need to validate custom patterns such as email, social security number or credit card number? Not a problem!

You can validate any custom pattern using regular expressions and save your new custom validation rule in an S.C repository to be used by other site owners.

SharePoint enables you to configure Static constraints, such as ensuring a mandatory field is not empty.

However, in simple web forms, your validation rules often need to change depending on the current item’s context. For example, you might need to make sure a specific field is not empty, depending on the value of another field. These types of rules are Dynamic validation rules which add sense to your forms.

Column Permissions

Dynamically show/hide/deactivate fields to create innovative SharePoint forms!

Control the visibility of specific list form fields in the New, Edit and View item forms. This app also allows you to hide views from the list views &  to hide or disable columns in the Quick Edit view. Dynamically hiding or disabling fields is done by setting up logic rules.

This way, you can turn your SharePoint list forms into dynamic, intelligent forms that display only the relevant fields according to the current user and context.

How do Column Permissions help you?

Easily configure rules that dynamically show, hide and disable fields according to the current user and various field values.

In the same way, you can configure rules that hide selected columns from list views, depending on various conditions.

Yes, even in the “Quick Edit” view, you can dynamically hide or disable selected columns so that users won’t update that field during bulk editing.

Default Values

Enhance your SharePoint list forms with dynamic default values!

Add Dynamic default values to your SharePoint list forms! Configure default values for all column types!

There are column types for which SharePoint Online out-of-the-box doesn’t allow you to configure default values. Examples of such column types are Person and Lookup fields.

With the Form Default Values Feature, you can now easily configure default values for these non-supported columns, like any other SharePoint column.

How can default value help you?

Is there a single SharePoint user who didn’t face the unpleasant experience of manually uploading a document and copying its name to the Title field?

With the Form Default Values feature, you can easily configure default values based on values of other columns and use dynamic tokens such as [Me] and [Today].

Depending on your form’s logic, you need different users to fill out the same form to have different default values in some form fields.

For example, when an end-user fills out a new Support Ticket form, the “Reported By” field should have the value of the current user by default. However, when a Helpdesk engineer fills out the same form, he probably does it on behalf of some end-user, so he would require this field to be empty by default.

With the Form Default Values feature, you can define Dynamic default values, which are different for different users.

Custom Layout

Turn your SharePoint Online forms into great-looking, multi-tab forms in just a few minutes!

Ever tried to fill out a SharePoint list form with 20 columns? You end up with an endless SharePoint form with a large pile of fields, lacking any logical grouping/categorization. No More!

How can Custom Layout help you?

With the Forms Custom Layout App, end-users can quickly create great-looking, multi-tab forms in just a few minutes! No need to learn & deploy any new form technologies and tools or to become a form design expert using complicated proprietary tools.

Quickly add tabs, collapsible regions & custom themes and turn your SharePoint list forms into dynamic, great-looking forms with SharePoint Field Groups!/

Cascading Lookup

Easily implement cross-site Lookup, Cascading fields & lookup field filtering functionality

Turn SharePoint Lookup columns into “Super Lookup” column

Real development applications are just a click away

Cascading LookApp field enables non-technical business users to turn SharePoint Lookup columns into “Super Lookup” columns so that you can now quickly implement sophisticated, cross-site, relational-database solutions in SharePoint!

Turn SharePoint list cascading lookup columns into “Super Lookup” columns

  • Cascading fields (“master-details”)
  • Cross-site lookups
  • Filtered lookups (set filters by views via the dropdown menu)
  • Dual (two-way) lookup
  • Many-to-Many entity relationships

How can Cascading Lookup help you?

Now you can easily create SharePoint lookup fields that are filtered by list view, which enables displaying different lookup content to other users!

Easily create Lookup to lists across the SharePoint site barrier. Now with the Cascading Lookup, you can create a lookup to remote lists located in various SharePoint sites.

Cascading Lookup in SharePoint lets a user filter field values by other fields in the same List.

Example: would you like to display the “Region,” “Country,” and “City” fields, where each one filters the following field? SharePoint Cascading Lookup empowers you to implement that with just the click of a button!

Do you have a long dropdown of values requiring users to scroll up and down until they find what they need?

Do you have a lookup associated with a SharePoint list, including duplicate values?

Now you can filter the Lookup by other columns from the SharePoint lookup list, enabling you to display unique values and make it easier for users to find what they need!

Repeating Rows

Multirow forms enabler for SharePoint Online list forms

SharePoint end-users can quickly create multirow forms or SharePoint repeating sections such as Expense Report or Purchase Order form &  implement use-cases where they have to update multiple connected documents while editing a list item. No need for any complicated technical tools that require power-user skills!

How can Repeating Rows help you?

Easily create multirow forms using SharePoint list forms. No need for any external SharePoint form designers! Add the Repeating Rows column to any SharePoint list to create multirow forms. Creating multirow forms in Microsoft 365 is as simple as adding a column to a list!

Prevent invalid input by configuring field validation rules.

Unlike attachments, you can use the SharePoint Repeating Rows column to connect multiple documents with their metadata to a list item. It supports use cases where a record needs to include numerous connected documents stored in a document library.

External Data Lookup

Using the KWIZ External Data Framework, you can create multiple reusable Webservices/REST API data sources.

You can connect the External Data Lookup column in your SharePoint list forms to any external data sources. Create your external data source using one of the ready-to-use examples!

Too many results displayed in your External Data Lookup?

SharePoint end users can quickly type to filter the displayed results.

The ability to support data source filtering allows asynchronous loading of only the relevant items from the external data source, saving time and resources.

In addition, client-side caching settings allow you to reduce unnecessary data load and improve performance.

Not so technical? No worries!

Create your external data source using one of the ready-to-use examples!

Using the External Data Lookup, you can auto-populate additional SharePoint form fields with the values retrieved from your external data source.

Signature Pad Column

Signing & drawing capabilities added to Modern SharePoint list forms!

Need to capture user signature in SharePoint list forms and documents?

The signature Pad custom column allows you to require an end-user signature when submitting a SharePoint list form. Add it to your SharePoint form like any other field. You can require select users to sign and approve an item as part of your defined workflow procedure.

Once a user signs the saved item, signing user name and signing the timestamp are held. Looking at the list view, you can quickly notice which items have been signed and which were not or updated after they were signed (signature invalidated). There is no need for any complicated form design software!

How can Signature Pad help you?

Multiple use cases require the ability to draw and sign using hand-held devices. A car rental inspection form, for example, where issues are manually identified and signed by the customer, is one such example.

Choose one of the provided Signature Pad background images, or add your custom background!

You can easily make the Signature Pad column visible and/or mandatory for select users and groups.

Dynamically display the Signature Pad column to relevant signers using KWIZ Forms Custom Actions (workflows) based on your workflow logic.

You can select which columns the signature should verify. If these columns have changed since the item was signed, the signature will become invalid.

Not a problem! Add extra Signature Pad columns and configure the signers and signed columns.

As part of the KWIZ Forms app, the Signature Pad can be used inside your Microsoft Teams channel as well.
